Land Acquisition

In the next stage of their journey, Skifter Ajeti and Arshly Yagoub jointly purchased land to obtain planning permission for residential housing. This endeavour proved to be their largest challenge yet, involving coordination with architects, councils, local authorities, and various professionals. Despite the complexities, they approached it with determination, learning valuable lessons in negotiation, problem-solving, and project management. This experience reinforced their partnership and equipped them with the expertise to tackle future endeavours with confidence. Together, they formed Ajeti & Yagoub Developers (A Y Developers), marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter in their professional journey. Eager to make their mark in the industry, Skifter and Arshly embarked on their inaugural development project with enthusiasm and determination. This first venture proved to be a significant learning experience, as they navigated the intricacies of project management, financing, and construction. Despite the challenges, their collaboration and perseverance paid off, resulting in a successful outcome that exceeded expectations. The project not only showcased their combined expertise but also reinforced their shared vision and commitment to excellence. A Y Developers

After acquiring extensive experience and expertise in construction economics and project management, Arshly embarked on a new chapter in his career journey. Leveraging his profound knowledge and entrepreneurial spirit, Arshly ventured into entrepreneurship by founding his own construction firm, with a primary focus on residential properties. With a vision to redefine luxury living and architectural excellence, Arshly set out to create extraordinary houses that seamlessly blend aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability. Through his firm, Arshly unleashed his creativity and attention to detail, crafting breathtaking homes that captivated the imagination of discerning clients. His commitment to quality craftsmanship and client satisfaction earned him a reputation for delivering exceptional results. Arshly’s firm quickly gained recognition for its innovative designs and impeccable execution, setting a new standard of excellence in the realm of residential construction.

Civil Engineering

After completing his undergraduate studies, Skifter Ajeti embarked on his professional journey as a junior engineer at J Coffey Construction, a renowned firm specialising in frameworks and concrete construction. Over the years spent at J Coffey, Skifter had the opportunity to work on several landmark projects, including Camden Lock Market, Westminster Council buildings, Waterloo Station, and the iconic Battersea Power Plant. Demonstrating exceptional dedication and leadership potential, Skifter quickly distinguished himself within the company. Within a remarkably short timeframe, his talents were duly recognized, and within the year, Skifter was promoted to the esteemed position of the main engineer. This rapid advancement attests not only to Skifter’s technical skills and expertise but also to his strong work ethic and ability to effectively manage projects. Moreover, due to his exemplary performance, he was swiftly elevated to the role of project manager, where he continued to lead with distinction, leaving an indelible mark on every project he undertook.

Masters

Following their undergraduate studies, Arshly pursued a Master’s degree in Construction Economics and Project Management at UCL (University College London) in London. This decision marked a significant step in Arshly’s academic and professional journey, deepening their understanding of the economic and managerial aspects of construction projects. At UCL, Arshly honed their skills, gained invaluable insights, and expanded their network within the construction industry. This experience at UCL equipped Arshly with the specialised knowledge and expertise necessary to excel in their field, further solidifying their commitment to the world of property development.

University

Our journey began at Kingston University in London, where Skifter and Arshly both studied civil engineering. It was here that they first met, bonded by their shared interest in construction and development. Through their studies and collaborative projects, they forged a friendship that would later evolve into a successful partnership. Kingston University provided the educational backdrop where Skifter and Arshly laid the groundwork for their future endeavours, gaining the knowledge and skills that continue to drive their professional pursuits.
